By the glow of a wood-burning fireplace with panoramic views of the Plantation Course’s 18th hole. Your table is set. For an intimate dinner. A satisfying bite. A charming evening out. Colt & Alison is Sea Island’s classic American steakhouse, serving the finest cuts of USDA wet- and dry-aged beef, the freshest local seafood, and other trademark specialties. Like an unbelievable Caesar Salad and the flaming Bananas Foster, prepared tableside. Sommeliers will pair each dish with masterful recommendations for your palate. And when dinner is all said and done, you’ll be planning what to have when you come back for breakfast.
36oz Porterhouse for Two
All of our steaks are fantastic, but the 36oz Prime Porterhouse for Two is definitely the most exciting cut on our menu. It is meant for sharing between two to three people and is served with a choice of two sides and sauce.
The Lodge Wine Cellar
An exposed-brick staircase carries guests through candlelight to the intimate, bottle-lined chamber to a very private multi-course meal. Dine on featured selections from The Lodge’s Colt & Alison dinner menu paired with Sea Island’s impressive award-winning wine collection—more than 1,000 labels of old and new world vintages. The well-balanced collection offers prestigious international classics, vintages dating to the 1830s, traditional favorites, and adventurous varietals, as well as five exclusive Sea Island private-label wines produced by esteemed vintners.
