Casual Beachfront Dining & Poolside Cafe

The Flip Flop Bistro is a mobile, culinary experience steps away from the sand. A far cry from the typical “burger and hot dog” stand, the Flip Flop Bistro offers a playful and eclectic menu with strong international influences.

Additionally, the Snack Shack is a casual poolside cafe featuring traditional snacks, quick meals, and healthy salads.


Eric Golden, Chef de Cuisine: Seasonal Services

Career Highlights: Eric Golden’s culinary curiosity has taken him all over the US including Oahu in Hawaii, where he served as Sous Chef at Dukes in Waikiki Beach. After a year of learning Pacific Rim and Asian flavors, Golden moved to back to San Diego, California, in the role of Banquet Sous Chef for Jsix Restaurant.  It was there that he was mentored by Executive Chef, Christian Graves, and grew not just as a cook but as a leader. Golden has most recently served as Executive Chef for the Black Bean Co. in Charleston, South Carolina, where he applied his knowledge of Southern cuisine. Sea Island welcomes Golden as Chef de Cuisine for Seasonal Services.

Foodie Fun Fact: Golden says his most favorite food growing up was his mother’s homemade Kimchi. It is still his favorite to this day. His least favorite food is lima beans!
