Celebrating your wedding at Sea Island Resorts expands beyond the single day. It enables you to create the destination event of a lifetime for you and your guests to enjoy. We offer an abundance of extraordinary activities, including our Sea Island Signature experiences that guests aren’t likely to find anywhere else.

The following is a selection of some of Sea Island Resorts’ favorite diversions, all of which you may offer to your guests to make your wedding weekend all the more memorable.

Security Gate Access Guests will be allowed access to Sea Island to attend your event, however, you must provide a complete guest list to your Wedding Designer who will then forward the information on the Security Guard House.

Transportation Sea Island Resorts owns and operates its own transportation department and is available to provide transportation for you, your wedding party and/or your guests. Buses start at $200 per bus, plus a driver fee of $45 per hour per driver. Please consult with your Wedding Designer for more details.

Overnight Rooms Once a signed contract is received for your event, your Wedding Coordinator will submit the request for the overnight room for the bride and groom. Once the room is confirmed, the Bride and Groom will be notified of the rate and guest room location.

Rehearsal Dinner and Bridesmaids' Luncheon Sea Island has many remarkable venues available for the other events that are normally associated with a destination wedding. From an Oyster Roast or a Low Country Boil to a fancy or casual Bridesmaids' Luncheon, our Wedding Designer will assist you with making every event perfect and stress-free.

Marriage License You do not need to be a Georgia resident to obtain a Georgia marriage license. If you are not a Georgia resident, you must get married in the same county in which you obtain the marriage license. If you are a Georgia resident, you may obtain your license in any county and get married in a different county, if you wish. Once you obtain the marriage license, it does not expire. The fee for a marriage license is $62. It is preferred that both parties apply together in person for the license, and that both bring a photo ID.
