Towering palms flank the entrance to Cottage 373, a traditional coastal home featuring a mix of tabby and board-and-batten construction. The spacious entryway leads to an open and inviting living and dining area. An impressive vaulted and planked ceiling lends an airiness to the space while a wall of French doors floods the room with light.

An L-shaped couch and dual slip-covered easy chairs offer comfortable seating in front of a large flat-screen television. A fireplace, with a carved mantle, anchors another seating area. A small round table can serve as additional dining space or offer a spot for board games and checkers. The dining area features a unique table with primitive-style seating that contrasts nicely with plush fluffy cushions. A mirrored wet bar with an icemaker and an assortment of glassware is adjacent to the dining room.

The clean white kitchen features a Sub-Zero refrigerator, wine cooler, double ovens, and a marble-topped island housing a four-burner Jenn-Air range. Barstool seating is an added bonus as is the nearby breakfast table with rattan seating in an ocean blue hue. A complete laundry room and overflow refrigerator are just steps away.

After passing a powder room just off the living area, enter the roomy master suite. A vaulted ceiling, bay window, and double bookcases flank a seating area with a couch and chaise longue. A four-poster king bed and small desk complete the furnishings. A huge closet/dressing area leads to the master bath, with a tub, glass shower, and mirrored vanity. Other bedrooms include a bunk room with two double over queen bunk beds, a fireplace, and flat-screen television, another with two queen beds, and a fourth with two double beds.

The outdoor pool terrace is private thanks to screening from palms, magnolias, and crepe myrtles. In addition to the sparkling pool, a teak table offers opportunities for al fresco dining, and lounge chairs promise plenty of sunning and relaxation. Pool may be heated with advance request prior to arrival and an additional fee.

With casual family-friendly furnishings and a variety of bedding options, Cottage 373 offers a private marshside location ideal for a Sea Island getaway.
