YOUR TEAM Sea Island provides each couple with professional wedding planning through our own Wedding Team and Event Design Collective. From your initial site visit to the final farewell on your wedding day, the Wedding Manager will help you throughout the process to coordinate wedding planning and execute the perfect day. In addition to our Wedding Team, the Sea Island Event Design Collective will listen to your vision, collaborate with industry experts, and create personalized occasions that celebrate life’s special moments. With our team by your side, you'll enjoy the entire planning processes much as you’ll love your wedding events at Sea Island. A HELPING HAND We love a fresh perspective and collaborating with outside planners for an extra wow. Initially, to make the planning process seamless, your Sea Island Wedding Manager will outline each individual’s professional role and responsibilities, as well as what services, items, and products must be supplied by Sea Island rather than outside vendors. THE PLANNING EXPERIENCE We pride ourselves on the planning of your wedding weekend being a part of your fondest wedding memories—not just the wedding events. We get excited in all of the details and it’s where we shine! The first planning meeting takes place approximately six months before your wedding date. At this meeting you will meet with the Sea Island Event Design Collective, which, with your Wedding Manager, will be responsible for the look and feel of your special day. You will also meet with the Sea Island Pastry Chef to begin brainstorming all things sweet. Then, approximately three months out, at your second meeting, your event design comes to life! Based on our first brainstorming sessions, our team provides design mock-ups of specific decor and a menu tasting to the bride, groom, and wedding hosts. It’s the best kind of sensory overload—all things beautiful and delicious!
