Matthew & Keirsten

What was your favorite memory from your Sea Island Wedding?
Matt and I made it a point to take little moments to ourselves, and that made our day really special. It’s easy to get caught up in the moment with all of your friends and family around you, but taking those moments alone made it magical.

How did you hear about Sea Island?
My family vacationed there for years, and then my parents ended up moving to Sea Island almost full time.

If you grew up coming here, what is your favorite past Sea Island memory?
Always having an endless amount of activities to do with my family. We were never bored on a vacation.

What was the inspiration for your décor/theme of your wedding?
The Great Gatsby – it was mine and Matt’s favorite book, so we wanted to bring fun elements from that book into the wedding.

After the wedding was over, were you pleased with the details? How would you describe your experience at Sea Island?
Absolutely. The level of detail and attention the Sea Island Wedding Team put into our wedding was unparalleled. I was so impressed, and they really made our dream day come true! We can’t thank them enough.
