Coastal horseback riding with an expert guide is a not-to-be-missed Sea Island experience. Sea Island’s Signature Beach Horseback Riding:

Horseback rides along the south end of Sea Island beach are a unique way to explore the ocean beach habitat of the Georgia coast, and are available for experienced riders over age 10.

Ring Rides

For our younger guests ages 3 and up offer children a chance to meet the horses along with a 20-minute ring ride.

Tiny Tykes Stables Tours

Give riders, ages 3-6, hands-on learning experiences as they meet, greet and ride the stable horses. Parents are encouraged to join in. Tours are available Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Reservations are required by 6 pm the day prior.

Private Lessons

Available for riders of all ages using English or western saddles. Jumping lessons are offered for the more experienced rider.

Saddle Up Horsemanship Clinic

A beginner horsemanship experience for ages 7-12 including hands-on horse care, grooming and riding. Clinics are offered Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Reservations are required by 6 pm the day prior.

Private Family Horsemanship Experience

A 90-minute hands-on lesson that includes grooming, tacking, a private family trail ride and tour of the barn.
