Sunsets and Serenades

A Sea Island tradition.

A sprawling view of the Speedway Putting Course and the Atlantic Ocean. Light appetizers and refreshing cocktails. The veranda behind The Lodge is a perfect corner to escape to by day but when dusk settles in, it’s the place to be on Sea Island.

Guests settle into Adirondack chairs on the lawn before dinner at The Lodge. As soon as you hear the distant sounds of “Amazing Grace,” you know golfers finishing their rounds take notice. Sea Island’s bagpiper pays homage to golf’s ancestral homeland, and is one of our favorite traditions.
