The legendary Jensen Brothers will spearhead the resort’s tennis program, with Murphy Jensen serving as Director of Tennis and Luke Jensen as a year-round touring pro. The dynamic duo will inject their natural energy and passion for the sport into Sea Island’s tennis program, serving up creative programming, partnerships and instruction.

As one of the most popular doubles teams in history, the Jensen brothers first became famous in the professional tennis world when they won the French Open doubles title in 1993. They went on to capture four additional ATP Tour doubles titles, reaching a career high rank of Number 5 in the world.

The Sea Island Tennis Center includes The Cloister and Retreat Tennis Centers, and boasts 8 Har-Tru® courts (four lighted). USPTA professional instructors provide a full-service program of year-round instruction, which can be customized for skill level, clinics, round robins, and partner matching. The pro shops are filled with the latest equipment, accessories, and active wear fashions.

• Daily tennis drills complement the clinic of the day, giving the player a complete workout.
• The doubles' specialty clinic is designed for intensive work on stroke production and doubles' positioning.
• The weekly round robin is a mixer for mixed doubles, a tennis social with prizes and refreshments.

The junior tennis programs offer age-specific clinics designed to promote a lifelong love of the sport and equip juniors with the tools required to advance to the next level.

• Tykes Tennis is a half-hour introduction to the sport for ages 4-6, developing basic skills and hand/eye coordination.
• Clinics for ages 7-11 develop basic tennis techniques, sound stroke production, and good sportsmanship -- skills that will last a lifetime.
• Working in a fun group environment, ages 10-13 focus on proper stroke technique while ages 11-15 develop skills in footwork, spins, tactics, and strategies.

Classic Tennis Package
