Ocean Forest golf clubOCEAN FOREST GOLF CLUB CELEBRATES 30 YEARS

This year, Ocean Forest Golf Club proudly celebrates its 30th anniversary. Since opening in 1995, the private club has been a haven for members from around the world, offering an iconic Rees Jones-designed course that seamlessly blends with the coastal landscape. In 2023, the course underwent a stunning refresh led by Beau Welling Design, enhancing its visual appeal and formidable challenges while preserving its reputation as one of the finest golf courses in the country. The refreshed course was awarded runner-up for the 2024 Best Renovation of the Year by Golf Digest. Ocean Forest has hosted many prestigious tournaments, including the 2001 Walker Cup and 21 Jones Cup Invitationals, consistently setting the standard for exceptional golf experiences. SEASIDE GOLF COURSE RESTORATION

As Seaside Golf Course nears its 25th anniversary, a thoughtful restoration is underway to honor its legacy as a premier Tom Fazio design. Led by Love Golf Design and executed by MacCurrach Golf Course Construction, the project will preserve the course’s original character while introducing some exciting, new enhancements. Restoration highlights include a state-of-the-art irrigation system, complete grass replacement and restored bunkers and greens rebuilt to USGA specifications.

 

The first phase of work begins in 2025, with a temporary closure from early July through late August for irrigation, fairway and bunker restoration and sea wall repairs. The remaining updates will be completed in 2026.

 

OASIS BY THE SPA AT SEA ISLAND

The Spa at Sea Island is proud to announce the release of its new signature scent, “Oasis.” Its fragrance combines earthy amber with jasmine and seagrass—balancing the earth’s grounding elements with the sea’s refreshing essence. The addition of ylang-ylang and lavender adds a soothing quality, promoting relaxation.

 

Now available for purchase in The Spatique, the Oasis candle is a sensory experience that blends land and sea, creating a tranquil environment that evokes the peaceful ambiance of The Spa at Sea Island. Designed and handcrafted by The Beauty of Hope, each candle is made with soy wax, cotton wick and natural fragrance, with a burn time of 60 hours.

 

RSM RENEWS TITLE SPONSORSHIP

RSM has extended its title sponsorship of The RSM Classic through 2028, reaffirming the tournament’s dedication to charity and community. Since its debut in 2010, the event has raised over $48 million for more than 100 charities worldwide. Hosted annually at Sea Island Golf Club, the tournament continues to grow globally, attracting 4.67 million viewers from 217 countries. It also delivers significant local impact, contributing over 231,000 volunteer hours and a $12.5 million economic boost to the Golden Isles. The tournament, set for November 17-23, 2025, will continue its legacy of uniting fans and giving back through the love of golf.
