If the intern/trainee or agency is scheduling travel, they will need to schedule travel according to the Sea Island airport shuttle schedule. If students arrive outside of that schedule, transportation will need to be handled by the intern/trainee and at their own expense. Sea Island requires 5 days’ notice of any intern/trainee arrival to ensure that we have a room prepared and to notify roommates. Generally, the intern will arrive at a temporary housing location before moving to Pointe Grand Apartments or other designated housing.

“Traditions in Excellence” is the name of orientation at Sea Island and takes place over two days. You will be expected to attend this orientation upon your arrival at Sea Island. Orientation will teach you about our company culture and history. Lunch is provided on both days. Attire is resort professional.

If Sea Island is paying the intern/trainee program fees upfront, the intern will be payroll deducted a determine amount of money that will repay this fee. The amount can vary depending on the intern/trainee paycheck, the amount of money that Sea Island pays upfront, and length of program.

To enhance the cultural experience for residents, Sea Island will organize cultural experiences and monthly activities. These initiatives aim to ensure that residents have opportunities to learn about the culture of the United States and engage in cultural exchange.
