With warm, rich woods, deep, vibrant colors, the glow of a wood-burning fireplace, and panoramic views of the 18th hole of Plantation, you know you have entered a special place. Whether it’s for an intimate dinner or a charming night out with friends or family, Colt & Alison provides an evening and dining experience to remember. This classic Sea Island steakhouse doesn’t just serve the finest cuts of USDA wet- and dry-aged beef, the freshest local seafood, and locally sourced side dishes. It also offers the most interactive experience of all our restaurants. Much-loved dishes such as Caesar Salad and flaming Bananas Foster prepared tableside have been joined by newcomers such as Wagyu Short Rib cooked in front of you on a Himalayan Saltblock. Our team makes preparing them as much fun as tasting them. Expert Sommeliers add to your enjoyment, pairing each dish with masterful recommendations. From your first glimpse to final bite, you will leave wishing every dining experience could be as wonderfully memorable as this one.
Colt & Alison will be closed until March 18, 2021.
In Chef Matthew's Own Words
While many chefs grew up helping relatives in the kitchen, I entered the culinary world simply to earn some pocket money. I began by working in my high school cafeteria and then in a fast-food establishment. When I moved to a bakery, I got my first glimpse of scratch cooking and was hooked. It quickly became evident that I had a passion for cooking and, luckily for me, it was something I was good at. My competitive spirit has helped propel my culinary career, pushing me to provide the best food, the best experience, and - most importantly - the best memories. I am also passionate about finding the best providers of ingredients and developing long-term relationships with them. They see the tremendous respect I have for their ingredients, because I know they are the foundation for every great meal. With every great meal, we get closer to my goal of Colt & Alison being known for setting the bar for all classic American steakhouses. I hope you’ll come experience it for yourself.
