The 2025 Women’s Elite Amateur Golf Series begins at Sea Island Golf Club, May 28-31, 2025, with the Sea Island Women’s Amateur on Tom Fazio’s Seaside Course. In keeping with its deep commitment to amateur golf, Sea Island is pleased to host the 5th annual Sea Island Women’s Amateur, drawing 78 of the nation’s top amateur golfers to the world-class setting of Sea Island for 54 holes of stroke play. Registration for the 2025 Sea Island Women’s Amateur will open in early 2025.

Women’s Elite Amateur Golf Series
The Elite Amateur Golf Series has announced the addition of a new series as part of its mission to align the top competitive amateur events in the United States. Five leading women’s amateur events representing over 345 years of conducting championships will form the Women’s Elite Amateur Golf Series (WEAGS) officially launching in the summer of 2024. The Sea Island Women’s Amateur was the first event contested in the series at Sea Island from May 28-31, 2024.
Seaside Course
The historic ocean-side links course that combines its beautiful natural setting to make a golf course that is both challenging and fun. The beautifully manicured fairways and greens are bordered by sweeping dunes mixed with native grasses, wildflowers, and bunkers. And the wind creates a different golf experience daily. Sea Island’s most dramatic layout, Seaside is routinely ranked among the top 100 courses in the United States.
