Here’s a checklist to ensure the perfect stay for you and your family.
First Step
Now that you’ve booked your cottage, the next step is to sign your Cottage Rental Agreement. With this signature, your trip to Sea Island is officially on the books and the countdown can begin.

Your rental comes with a team of dedicated cottage concierges ready to assist with the details of your stay. These include dining, tee times, babysitting arrangements, heating of pools, in-cottage function information, and activity and spa reservations. We recommend making these reservations at least three months out.

Offering transfers from Jacksonville, Savannah, Brunswick, and St. Simons Island airports, arriving at your cottage has never been easier.
Pre-arrival and post-departure cleanings are included in your rental rate. Additional housekeeping services are available for an additional charge.
Arrive to your cottage with a stocked fridge and pantry with the help of our grocery delivery service.
From dining delivered to your door or private chef services in your cottage, we have you covered.
Offering more than a dozen dining options, eating at Sea Island is always a short walk or drive away.
Need items for your little ones? We can arrange delivery for cribs, highchairs, or other specialty items.
Need to ship items ahead of your arrival? Let us know, we will conveniently deliver these to your cottage.

Arrival
Check-in begins at 4 p.m.
The day has come and we look forward to welcoming you to Sea Island. Here are a few details for today.
- Cottage check-in begins at 4 p.m. but may vary during peak arrival periods.
- Check-in at the Sea Island Cottage Rentals office.
- After checking in, you will be directed to the Sea Island Gatehouse, where you will receive an access decal for your vehicle(s).
- If your cottage is not ready, you will be directed to available amenities and contacted when the home is ready for your arrival.
- Should you arrive when the office is closed, proceed directly to the Sea Island Gatehouse to check-in.

For a smooth and seamless check-in, please let us know when you’ll arrive.
Departure
Check out by 10 a.m.
Upon departure, please leave the Cottage in a neat and orderly manner and secure the Cottage by closing all windows, turning off all lights and small appliances, and locking all exterior access doors.
The check-out process is complete and charges cease once keys are returned to the Sea Island Cottage Rentals office, or placed in the overnight box at our front door if departing outside of office hours. For security purposes, guests not returning all keys will be assessed a re-keying charge of $100.
