Maybe you’ve never set foot on a green before or you’re new to the game. Getting started in golf can be intimidating. But the Sea Island Golf Performance Center welcomes players of every level. Sure, we train the pros, but in the hands of a comprehensive approach, the latest cutting edge technology, and some of the finest teachers in the country, we meet you where you and your skills are. This is a relaxed atmosphere designed to put you at ease and make you feel comfortable. A place for people who love the game. We want you to feel energized and our one-on-one instruction helps you get in the game.

3-Hour Golf Program

3-Hour Program

Don’t have much time to spend with us? In this condensed course, you will learn at least four of the six “stock” shots—putt, chip, pitch, and approach shots—you need to start playing the game. A great, quick introduction to the game.

Schedule:

  • Hour 1 and 2: Learn the fundamentals of putting, chipping, pitching and full swing on the range
  • Hour 3: Hit the shots you learned on the golf course

Inclusions:

  • Warm up and stretching tips, with longevity in mind
  • Overview of golf clubs and etiquette used on the course
  • How to hold the club and set up routine for various shots
  • Shots on and around the greens: putting, chipping and pitching
  • Getting iron shots in the air to advance the ball
  • Video summary of what you worked on, sent to your e-mail
  • Combine what you have learned and take it to the course. Practice shots to hit in different situations, where to drive the golf cart, rules and how to keep score! Learn helpful tips on how to save time and keep up with the group.
Ladies Golfing

5-Hour Program

Learn the six “stock” shots you need to start playing the game—putt, chip, pitch, bunker shot, approach shots, and drives—and then put yourself to the test on the course with a pro.

Schedule:

  • Hour 1 and 2: Learn the fundamentals of chipping, pitching, and full swing on the range
  • Hour 3 and 4: Learn the fundamentals of putting, bunker, and full swing on the range
  • Hour 5 and 6: Play three holes on the course

  • Overview of golf clubs and etiquette used on the course
  • How to hold the club and set up routine for various shots
  • Shots on and around the greens: putting, chipping, pitching and bunker shots

8-Hour Program

8-Hour Program

Learn the six “stock” shots—putt, chip, pitch, bunker shot, approach shots, and drives—you need to start playing this game, and zone in on your shots that need the most work. You will also learn how to hit each shot off various lies and in various conditions. Reinforce the fundamentals learned with more time to practice.

Schedule

Day 1

  • Hour 1 and 2: Learn the fundamentals of chipping, pitching, and full swing on the range
  • Hour 3: Learn the fundamentals of putting, bunker, and full swing on the range
  • Hour 4: Play three holes on the course

Day 2

  • Hour 5 and 6: Work on shots that need the most work, picked by you and your instructor after Day 1.
  • Hour 7 and 8: Play up to seven holes and/or practice for various on-course situations

Inclusions:

  • Warm up and stretching tips, with longevity in mind
  • Overview of golf clubs and etiquette used on the course
  • How to hold the club and set up routine for various shots
  • Shots on and around the greens: putting, chipping, pitching, and bunker (more in depth, work on more different lies and conditions)
  • Getting iron and hybrid shots in the air to advance the ball
  • Swinging longer driving clubs
  • Video summary of what you worked on, sent to your e-mail
  • Combine what you have learned and take it to the course. Play a few holes with the pro. Learn what shots to hit in different situations, where to drive the golf cart, rules and how to keep score. Learn helpful tips on how to save time and keep up with the group.
