In the spring and summer months, you might spot a raptor or bird of prey on the job at the Beach Club, keeping the boat-tailed grackles in line. But guests are also able to see these fascinating birds up close and experience first-hand the ancient art and 4,000-year-old tradition of falconry. Handle a raptor, take a private walk with a falconer, and have a raptor fly to you. Or go for the full experience at Broadfield, a haven for raptors, for a half-day outing watching a falcon capable of speeds around 200 miles per hour, in hot pursuit of gamebirds.
