Cottage 435 also features a large, modern kitchen with a farm table for eight, a center island with bar stools, and a comfortable sitting area for morning coffee and gatherings. Sleek granite countertops gleam beneath a custom light fixture of copper and glass. The chef-inspired stainless-steel appliances include a six-burner gas Viking cooktop with an impressive masonry range hood, double ovens, a Viking refrigerator, Sub-Zero cooling drawers, and a separate ice maker.
Through the antique brick back hallway is the formal dining room with a mahogany-topped table that comfortably seats ten. An abstract seascape dominates one wall, and a full wall of mirrored white shelves complements the room. The adjacent screened porch has an additional casual dining table, and the French doors can be opened to join the two rooms for extended family dining. The incredible backyard features a serene oval pool with a clamshell waterfall and lush landscaping. The rambling, private backyard encourages further relaxation with ample poolside seating, a fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs, and expansive green space. Pool may be heated with advance request prior to arrival and an additional fee.
The ground-level master bedroom features a luxurious king bed, a sitting area with a flat-screen television, a desk with a leather chair, and a walk-in closet. The spectacular white master bath offers marble throughout, double sinks, a frameless glass shower, a free-standing soaking tub, and elegant crystal lighting.
There are four master-size bedrooms on the second floor, each with an en suite bathroom and flat-screen television. These private retreats provide a variety of accommodations – two bedrooms with one king bed and two bedrooms each with two queen beds. Interesting artwork adorns the second-floor walls, including sailboats, authentic nautical maps, and vintage Sea Island golf, diving, and shooting photographs.
