Southern Grown

Sea Island commemorates the distinctive culture of the south during Southern Grown, giving members and guests the chance to taste, sip, learn about, and experience the unique cuisine and traditions of this region of America. The day will be filled with exciting experiences, opening with the Southern Grown Shrimp and Grits Cooking Contest in The Cloister Clubroom. Next, don’t miss the Cocktail Demonstration in the newly renovated Georgian Rooms or a wine tasting in The Cloister Wine Cellar, followed by a cooking demonstration in Tavola. The day culminates with the “Best of Sea Island” dinner prepared by our Sea Island chefs before the evening closes with a concert featuring Justen Harden from Nashville, Tennessee.
